Does anyone know how UVAWise girls did today? I think they were supposed to play at 4.
They won 58-57, play King tomorrow for the title.

Helton Block Clinches Lady Cavs Trip to AAC Title Affair

Bristol, TN ? Sarah Helton blocked Milligan's Leah Seevers' shot in the final second of the women's basketball Appalachian Athletic Conference match to take The University of Virginia's College at Wise to the tournament title game. The Lady Cavs edged the Lady Buffs 58-57 for the win.
Third-seeded UVa-Wise will make its first appearance in the AAC championship game. The Lady Cavs (23-9) will face host and fifth-seeded King College (18-14) upset top seed and regular season champion Bryan College by a 75-62 score to claim the other title spot.
After Sarah Helton misfired on a three-pointer with 11 seconds, the Lady Buffs pulled in the rebound and called a timeout with 2.4 seconds left. Milligan (20-11) inbounded the ball and Seevers grabbed the ball just inside the foul line and shot the ball only to have Helton cleanly block the shot and claim the ball as time ran out to seal the 58-57 UVa-Wise win.
Sarah Helton led the Lady Cavs with 19 points on seven of 15 shooting and eight rebounds. She added three blocks and three steals. Rachel Helton dropped four of seven three-pointers and made six of 12 attempts for 16 points. Chelsea Lee added 13 points, seven caroms and four assists. LaShay Collier handed out eight assists to go with eight tallies.
The largest lead of the opening half was enjoyed by Milligan of six points, 26-20, was the halftime score. A Lee layup gave UVa-Wise a 17-12 advantage with 5:44 in the half only to see Milligan the next 10 points to gain the momentum.
The Lady Buffs held onto the lead for the first 12 minutes of the latter half. UVa-Wise regained the lead with 7:49 on a pass from Collier to Lee for a triple to edge ahead, 44-42. The two teams played evenly and were tied, 54-54, with 2:06 on the clock.
Lee made one of two foul shots for the Lady Cavs only to see Seevers hit a jumper for a Milligan, 56-55 lead at 1:19. The biggest shot of the game came on the next trip for Uva-Wise when Collier found Rachel Helton on the right wing for her fourth three-pointer to make it 58-56 with 1:01.
Milligan had two shots and then Rikki Baughman was fouled with 41.1 seconds. She missed the first free throw and made the second for a 58-57 score to set up the final missed Lady Cav shot and failed Lady Buffs last second attempt.
